Impresions.. Page 3...

well everything has been blown out of proportion now... the game seems to be reaching its climax..

gamefaqs.com has a post on how to rip all the FMV from the dvdrom with use of a number of programs, plus a dvdrom drive.. he also listed the names of the FMV files so you can rewrite them so you know what scene they are... and looking at the list.. this whole game climax i'm experiencing is the final dungeon ... or something simliar...

yep.. one or two more days of solid game playing and i'll probably finish it ^_^ ... although there's still tons of secret i still need to get.... which brings my to my next topic... i found the Battling passport for that mini-game... and lemme tell you .....

AGWS Battling - Minigame

like most mech games, you would think it would be damn fun to drive around and beat up things... well this minigame is pretty crappy, but fun to play when you get the hang of it ... It does play exactly like Virtua On, except with a more akward controll sytle... movement is completely dependent on the analog sticks... the right stick controls the right rocket movement, and the left stick controls the left rocket movement.. which makes turning quite akward...

but like anything it takes a little getting used to, and is sorta fun when you play it ....

anywho... have a nice spring break everyone.. i'm going back home to Minnesota for a solid week of work ^_^ ... and by the time i'm back, i'll have beaten Xenosaga no doubt... and hopefully finish a couple drawings as well...

here's another candid shot from one of Xenosaga's many flashbacks and still frames....

Thats all folks... i beat Xenosaga just a second ago and here are my thoughts : ... this truly is Part 1... Episode 1 ends very much in the same way Lord of the Rings Part 1 ends... merely one climax in the overall vast story... an Introduction to what is to come... which means the ending of Episode 1 is very unsatisfying.. i want more ^_^ ... well i'm still missing a couple items i can go back for ....

One of my 'ending' theories certainly was not true which makes me think of how the next Xenosaga will play...

SPOILERS - this content contains some spoilers that you may not want to know, but for my arguement is quite neccesary...

All the playable characters live through the ending.. dispite some very close calls ^_^ ... and also .. all of my characters are under the 50 level marker.. which leads me to boldy declare, that in the begining of Xenosaga Episode 2, you begin with the exact same party, weapons, and items as you ending Episode 1 with... after the game ends, you save a file that you cannot open.. so.. ^_^ ... there's the begining of Episode 2... but this brings out another question...

Do you have to play/buy&beat Xenosaga Episode 1 in order to play Episode 2.... i wonder if the only way to start a new game is with the save file acquired from the end of Episode 1 ... i wonder, i wonder, i wonder....

something else that is quite well known after beating the game is that Xenosaga certainly DOES NOT follow the Xenogears Perfect Works Timeline... Xenosaga is not Xenogears... so nothing is known of the next 5 games... the entire story is open... and with 45hrs. per game... thats a 270hrs. Role Playing game... 270hrs minimum of game... sure it'll cost 6 times the amount.. but one of the most massive stories in all rpgs, will have gameplay to match... i think thats quite impressive... too bad sales aren't doing so well....

anywho ,My overall feeling for Xenosaga Episode 1 ... just simply put .. the begining...

as the ending clearly puts it
