Impressions....

ya know.. this has been out for one hell of a long time before i actually sat down to play it .. for a game I considered to be my favorite I cound never bring myself to play it .. I played it for a little bit after it came out but could hardly stand it .. then I left it .. never played it again ..

so.. as i worked at Toys r us it sat on the shelf.. It sat there for 2 years.. never loosing any price.. I was leaving so i needed it before i left.. I bargained it for half the price.. well then i owned it.. I still hadn't played it .. it was added to my collection .. but i hadn't done naything with it .. I had always wanted to beat it.. so many people rave about it so..

Then i played it .. like hype always is.. the game is rather terrible.. the story.. is far above par... but everything else about it chips easily away at the credibility of the story.. The graphics do indeed suck.. but what can you do .. that always changes with time .. Gameplay is also the same way.. No analog.. no customize controls.. no message speed... but the non outdated stuff.. the script.. how terrible.. the characters talk as if they are idiots.. sure the important parts aren't too bad.. but the whole dumbass thing Fei has going on.. People my find funny.. you're saving the damn world.. who the fuck cares about your shoes ...

The character art is quite nice.. as most people say.. it is just like an anime .. right down to the terrible dubbing .. the lips move when there is no voice.. its a huge reason how stereotypes start with japanesse dubbing ..

So .. in the end i give the game a 2 out of 10.. thats not to say don't play it .. the story is beyond compare.. the story gets 10 of 10.. but the characters 1 of 10.. script : 0 of 10.. music : 7 of 10.. art : 4 of 10.. graphics : 2 of 10.. animation: 2 of 10 .. cinematography: 6 of 10 .. too bad the graphics don't keep with it ..

welp.. its one of those games you'll remember better in the future.. because of the strong points ...
