Impressions....

now before you get the wrong idea and think this is some excellent anime series.. well you are half right... as hinted by the producing company, this is hentai.. therefore shouldn't be viewed by little children or religious uptight people...

Twelve years ago, in the secret underground satanic Magic circle located in the school of all places.. the junior college's society of Magic held the sacrifice of young Kitami to the devil... however, Kitami had much more endurance than they had hoped.. she signed a blood pact with the summoned demon and fulfilled her revenge...

now most pornography has some very very predictable storylines... and not to say that Bible Black has an unpredictable storyline.. but i think its quite decent, and then backed with some very nice artwork... using Magic as a parallel for sexual desire invokes some thought in my mind... both having high temptations... hard to resist the magnificence of either, yet knowing the result could possible destroy you...

thats where our hero, Minase, comes into play... the unsuspecting male of this erotic adventure, who has come across the magic book of old magic club, writen in blood from the ritual.. from the book he learns all the spells he needs to get his way with the women.. creating love curses for his friends, and seducing the class rep that he's quite attracted to...

but besides the easily tempted Minase, there is a greater evil than curiousity.. the school nurse has also been seducing school girls with her known knowledge of the magic, frantically looking for a virgin...

the story gets a bit interesting when circumstance is put into play in the second episode... the series certainly does not end at episode 2, but unfortunatly the Dvd does and on a cliffhanger too, ugh...

but besides the above par story and concept, there is the artwork which is excellent.. and i'm not generally refering to the scenes that go bump in the night.. The characters are well drawn and colored beatifully.. The colors used are excellent.. different shades of skin tone and clothing for different times of the day and lighting.. the attention used in choosing colors is very nice... i'm quite impressed considering that its hentai...

the animation, however, is par... like most Kitty Media presentations they use no more than 5 or so frames for repetitive motion.. <-- ya know what i'm talking about, *wink *wink... but the artwork well makes up for and hides this Kitty shortcut...

all in all, the more reason for this little review is not to tell you to go out and buy it and love it or to say don't miss it.. this is just a little reminder that a flower can grow out of a pot of dirt... even if the flower in this case is the use of temptation.. i found it quite interesting that i was thinking more about that than the content i usually look for in hentai...
